Long Range
There are many definitions of what would be considered Long Range. Here we see it as the range where hit probability and time of flight become some of the factors when engaging a target as well as the capability of the system and ammunition being used.
Extreme Long Range - ELR
Extreme Long Range
Extreme Long Range (ELR) is generally where we push the limits of the rifle system and ammunition from ranges within supersonic to well into the subsonic. ELR usually starts at 1500 yards.
